New Mexico official says Idaho gets uranium enrichment plant

Areva, a French owned company, has decided to build a uranium enrichment plant in eastern Idaho, according to a New Mexico paper. The Idaho Legislature and four other states were wooing the company. NM State Rep John Heaton of Carlsbad said the workforce was the decisive factor. $2 billion faccility will be near the national lab. Miller, AP in the Seattle P-I.
